As summer ends

Previously, I had been writing a new blog posting each month. However, we went to both Norway & Poland (they really aren't that far from each other) in June and then the July and August just seemed to disappear.

When we were in Ålesund Norway, I became addicted to the water reflections that were in the narrow inlet that ran through the city. The coloured building created beautiful reflections, especially when it wasn't raining and the water was still.

Additional images from this series can be found in the Reflections Gallery

I've also been creating new images around the theme of Fragmented Forests. I think that came from the Jasper fires this summer that the fire crews are still working on containing. For an unknown reason to me, these are difficult to create and it may be awhile before I have a series to show.

As the days start to become cooler, all of the beautiful falls colours will return.

As usual, I am always interested in what you think.

Barb, I love the reflection series, it is serene and graphic at the same time. Have you been to Amsterdam or any other city in Holland as the water reflections are amazing and worth a visit

The reflections are beautiful and show serenity.

The fall is reminiscent of harvest and reflection.

The Jasper reminder is deep and complicated like the memories & feelings of Jasper and its depth of richness and history and memories for the people and our family.

My favourite is Aqua2, while Aldo's was Aqua3. Lovely colours!
