Urban Cityscapes

It has been a busy month getting ready for the show at the Horsebridge Arts Center in Whitstable, UK but I did manage to edit a few more Urban Cityscapes. The first two images are from New York City and the second two are from Chicago. I'd love to know what you like and don't like about them. The colours are very different from my normal colour palette, but sometimes the images tells me what it wants to be. WonderlandWonderland Atmospheric VibranceAtmospheric Vibrance
The show in Whitstable opened 3 days ago and has been getting rave reviews, which has pleased all of the participants. Im sure by next month I will have a few images to share.

I love the two from Chicago more than the two from New York, perhaps because they are more "fluid", more ICM-ish. The New York ones are a bit too "stiff" for my taste. I love the colours in the Chicago set as well. Perhaps it is that the Chicago set are more impressionist whilst the New York pair are more abstract, and I think that is why I seem to prefer the Chicago set. Interesting to see where you are heading with these new works. Very cool!
